More than 70% of the patients who died were already suffering from some serious illness. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that India is in a better position than other countries in the fight against Corona.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 o'clock on Tuesday morning, in the last 24 hours, about 10 thousand new cases have been reported and 266 people have lost their lives. Including these, the number of infected has increased to 2,66,598 and the number of dead to 7,471. The number of active patients is 1,29,813 and the number of healthy people is 1,29,313. In this way, the number of healthy patients is about 50%.
