New Delhi: For its most affordable model, the S1 Air, Ola Electric has added three new trim levels to India. The scooter's base model now has a 2kWh battery pack, the mid-level model has a 3kWh battery pack, and the top-of-the-line model has a 4kWh battery pack. The new S1 Air price range is available for Rs. 84,999. (ex-showroom).

In India, Ola Electric is the market leader in electric two-wheelers. In October of last year, the brand released the S1 Air, its most affordable product on our soil.

The 110cc ICE-powered scooter market, particularly the market leader, the Honda Activa 6G, was the target market for the S1 Air model from the EV manufacturer. Three new battery pack choices have made the e-scooter even more appealing.

The Ola S1 Air features an indicator-mounted front apron, a dual-pod LED headlight in the shape of a smiley, a flat footboard with a rubberized mat, a flat-type seat, a single-piece tubular grab rail, black cladding on the lower body, and a sleek LED taillamp. This model is largely unchanged from last year. The EV's instrument panel features a 7.0-inch TFT touchscreen. The 12-inch steel wheels of the e-scooter are blacked out.

A 2kWh, 3kWh, or 4kWh battery pack is connected to a 4.5kW hub-mounted electric motor to power the Ola S1 Air. The first one guarantees a range of up to 85 kilometres, the second one up to 125 kilometres, and the third one up to 165 kilometres.

The Ola S1 Air has drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels for the rider's safety, as well as a combined braking system (CBS) for better stopping power. There are three riding modes available: Sport, Normal, and Eco. Telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the back are responsible for the suspension.

The price of the Ola S1 Air in India is Rs. 84,999 for the 2kWh battery model, Rs. 99,999 for the 3kWh battery model, and Rs. 1,09,999 for the top-of-the-line 4kWh battery pack variant. Now, e-scooters can be reserved online.
