KABUL: At least seven people have been killed and 21 others injured in three consecutive bomb blasts in Afghanistan's Kabul city on Thursday morning. This information is given by the local authorities. Kabul police spokesman Firdaws Faramaz told local media that the first blast took place at 8:10 a.m. when a suicide bomber riding a bike targeted a bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the second blast was carried out near the site of the attack. "At least seven people have been killed and 21 injured in these attacks," Public Health Ministry spokesman Wahidullah Mayer said in a statement.
The Interior Ministry said that the two attacks included women and children, among those who died and were injured. The third attack took place in another area of the city. It was caused by an explosion in an explosive-filled vehicle. The blast happened around the residential area, where several industrial factories are also located.
