Built at a depth of 20 meters from the ground, the basement will have bones and skulls of about 60 lakh dead. You will also be surprised to know that these bones and skulls have been decorated and built two kilometres long walls.
According to information, the place in Paris is also known as the French Catacombs and is said to have buried many bodies together in a pit due to the lack of a cemetery in 1785. This cellar of 200-meter-long tombs may be scary, though people from far and wide come to see it and the first time the basement was opened to the public in 2008, more than four million people have visited it since then.
According to a website called Airbnb, this place has also been used for some Hollywood movies and fashion shows. It is also said that it took about 10 years to collect the skeletons that were present after the discovery of the basement.
