Tuesday;June 28, 2016:According to the senior police said that at Banihal,three persons were killed when a car they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban.

"The car, which was on its way to Verinag belt of Kashmir valley from Jammu, skidded off the highway and rolled into the gorge near Panthyal bridge in the district”, a police officer said.

All three belonged to Nowgam-Verinag area of Anantnag district South Kashmir.

“Locals, police, army and CRPF rushed to the spot to recover the bodies from the gorge”, he said.
