Corona wreaks havoc in Assam, three more MLA test positive for corona

Guwahati: 3 more MLAs have been found infected with corona infection in Assam on Wednesday. With this, the figures of Corona-ranked legislators in the state, including former CM Tarun Gogoi, have been advised. Officers have given information about this. MLA Kamal Singh Narjari of Bodoland People's Front (BPF) from Bijni, BJP MLA Bhaskar Sharma from Margherita and independent MLA Bhuvan Pegu from Jonai have been found infected with corona infection.

MLA Kamal Singh Narjari and Sharma have been admitted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital while Pegu is living separately in their residence in Jonai, Dhemaji District. In Assam, the figure of corona patients has also crossed 94 thousand. There have been 1,973 new cases of corona infection in the state, after which the total number of patients has increased to 94,592. Out of the total cases, 73,090 patients have recovered from the infection, while 260 have died.

The health department has reported that the number of active cases has increased to 21,239 in the state. Apart from this, according to the Union Health Ministry, the number of infected in the country has reached 31,67,324 and the number of people recovering from Corona has increased to 24,04,585 while there are 7,04,348 active cases. Let us tell you that Congress leader and former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi has been infected with Corona infection. Recently, he got the corona test done, in which his report has turned positive. The Congress leader himself informed this by tweeting.
