Jaipur: In Rajasthan's Alwar district, three police constables are facing charges of raping an 18-year-old woman for more than a year, according to officials on Sunday. Superintendent of Police Anand Sharma stated that the woman filed a complaint against the three policemen on Saturday, alleging that they had threatened to frame her brother in a false case if she reported the matter.

The accused constables, assigned to various police stations, have been recalled from their postings and attached to the Police Lines. A case has been registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 376-D (gang rape), and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Raini police station.

The victim, accompanied by her mother, visited the SP Office to file the complaint. The accused constables are posted at the Raini police station, the office of Rajgarh Circle Officer, and the Malakheda police station.

In her complaint, the victim stated that she was sexually assaulted by the constables for over a year. The SP emphasized that when the first incident occurred in November last year, she was a minor. Upon receiving the complaint, it was promptly forwarded to the Raini police station, and the FIR was registered on Saturday night. The constables have been shifted to the Police Lines to prevent any interference with the investigation, and no arrests have been made thus far.
