In Andhra Pradesh, it appears that there is some movement on the subject of ticket rates. Perni Nani, the Minister of Cinematography, met with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the controversial problems and concerns of the industry and trade.

According to rumours, draft G.O. would be prepared today or tomorrow and handed to a Telugu film industry delegation (led by Megastar Chiranjeevi) that will meet with the Chief Minister on the 10th of this month. The government has decided to provide ticket rates of Rs 150, Rs 100, and Rs 50, according to sources.

Even if these prices are unsustainable, they are far better than the abnormally low costs, according to the industry. The government, on the other hand, is pushing the same costs for multiplexes, which the sector is concerned about. If ticket prices in multiplexes are so low, shares will not be shown. Meanwhile, there are reports that after February 14th, the AP government may abolish the 50 percent occupancy and night curfew. It will be a huge relief for the business in this case.
