*TRIGGER WARNING*
Tiffany Haddish is once more becoming embroiled in old accusations. On Tuesday, a mother filed a complaint against Haddish and comedian Aries Spears on behalf of her minor children, who were listed in the records as Jane Doe and John Doe. According to Jane and John, Haddish and Spears "groomed" them and "traumatised them for life."
Haddish's attorney responded to the allegations in a statement to People, "Plaintiff's mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms Haddish for several years," the attorney went on, "Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms Haddish would not be shaken down."
The lawyer also added, "Now, Ms Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action." While Spears' lawyer too said in a statement to the outlet that the comedian "isn't going to fall for any shakedown."
Regarding the complaint against Haddish, the complainant contended that Haddish was "a longtime family friend" and alleged that back in 2013, when the minor was 14, the actress took one of the complainants to a "sexually suggestive Subways commercial" that Haddish allegedly implied would assist the adolescent in getting on television and be featured in the plaintiff's film reel. After watching a video of an older man and woman performing inappropriate sexual actions, Haddish is accused of teaching Jane Doe how to do the same during the recording.
