The test series was not so favourable for the visiting team but they are showing a good show in the ongoing ODI series. Their speed star Tim Southee is pretty confident their team will be able to defeat the hosts in the last and final ODI game scheduled to be played in Vishakapatnam. Right now both the teams have won 2 games each hence eyes on to win the series along with winning the match.

"I think the guys are pretty excited to do what no other New Zealand side has ever done before – come over here and win a one-day series. The excitement in the group is very high," the New Zealand pacer said on the eve of the series decider.

If the new Zealand wins, it will be their maiden ODI series win on the Indian land. India clean swept against kiwis in 1988 for the first time in the captaincy of Dilip Vengsarkar. "Everyone is really looking forward to tomorrow. It's been a long tour for some guys and it'll be nice to finish what's been a tough tour on a high note. The spirits are high and everyone is excited about the challenge for tomorrow," Southee added.
