After this, this scepter will be installed near the Lok Sabha Speaker's podium. Along with this, the saints of Dharmapuram Adhinam will present special gifts to the Prime Minister. Speaking about the installation of Sengol, the symbol of justice, Ambalavan Desiga Paramacharya Swamigal of Thiruvaduthurai Adhinam said on Friday (May 26) that Sengol is a symbol of justice and it is a matter of pride for Tamil Nadu to be given importance to it.

Lord Mountbatten got the Sengol and it was given to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1947. It is good that PM Modi will install Sengol in the new Parliament. Tomorrow, we are going to Delhi and we will give it to the PM. PM Modi has decided to adopt Sengol as the national symbol of the Amrit period. Home Minister Amit Shah had said on Wednesday (May 24) that the holy Sengol is a symbol of transfer of power from the British to India. He had said that Parliament House is the most suitable and sacred place to establish the historic Sengole.
