West Bengal: In the second phase of polling clashes erupt between Trinamool and BJP workers in booth 112 of Raiganj constituency. It is worth mention here that the polling station has been completely vandalised, EVM damaged. Here it is to be noted that voting has been stalled for now.

Here it is worth mention here that Security personnel lob tear gas shells and lathi charge locals after they blocked National Highway 34 in protest of bike-borne men allegedly preventing them to cast their votes at Digirpar polling booth in Chopra, it is to be noted that in Islampur subdivision of North Dinajpur. "TMC workers were trying to capture booth. They were campaigning among Muslims there. This isn't election campaign," said BJP General Secy and party candidate from Raiganj Debasree Chaudhuri. To be noted that she further alleged that TMC workers were trying to capture booth at Raiganj Coronation High School.

However it is worth mention here that the 95 parliamentary constituencies across 11 states and 1 UT, where polling is being held in the second of the seven-phased Lok Sabha election, registered 12.69 per cent voter turnout till 11 am. To be noted that states witnessing polls on Thursday are Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Puducherry.it is to be noted that polling will continue till 6 pm in most states and union territories.
