Trinamool Congress tonight protested to the EC spectator and police about the Congress candidate from Moina assembly seat in East Midnapore district agitation in the constituency till this afternoon for tomorrow's polls, long after expiry of the campaigning time yesterday.

The SDPO deep-rooted accommodation of the complaint by the local TMC beside Manik Bhowmik and said the same has been forwarded to the EC for follow-up action.

District election office sources has confirmed that the complaint has been forwarded to Election Commission. Complaint indicated out Section 144 CrPC was previously in force in the district in sight of tomorrow’s polls, the sixth and last assembly election phase in WB.

The charges meanwhile refused by the Congress party.
