Kolkata: "Muslims have not got a fair share in the Mamata Banerjee government and now is the time for minority communities to regain their rights," says Dilip Ghosh, president of the West Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said this at a public meeting in Howrah. He also said that the ruling Trinamool Congress was running on 'appeasement politics', but the party did nothing to enhance the financial position of Muslims.

He made a lot of points in this meeting. In the meantime, he spoke, "If the Trinamool Congress loves Muslims very much, why are they so poor? The Sachar Committee said that the Muslims of Bengal are very poor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goodwill to feed everyone during the Covid-19 epidemic was to benefit everyone, irrespective of their religion. In addition, he also said, "Muslims in West Bengal have been filled with police cases for various offences like animal smuggling. He alleged that the grains sent by the centre to West Bengal were sent to Bangladesh. '

In addition, he also said, "Today, the Muslims of Bengal have realised (Trinamool's intention) and are ready to regain their rights. If Hyderabad's AIMIM wants to contest the assembly elections here, why is Didi (Mamata Banerjee) worried? The BJP will never run on the path of appeasement. ''
