TMC MLA gets corona vaccine by breaking vaccination rules

New Delhi: India has launched the world's largest corona vaccination campaign. First, health workers are being vaccinated but in West Bengal's East Burdwan district, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA appeared to be breaking the rules. The TMC MLA from Bhatar assembly constituency got a corona vaccine at the district hospital on Saturday.

Another TMC MLA violated the rules. Rabi Chatterjee also gets corona vaccinated from Kata assembly constituency. On the first day of corona vaccination, more than three lakh health workers will be given a dose of Covid-19 vaccine. A total of 3006 vaccination centres have been set up in all states and union territories for the first phase.

According to the central government, first, one crore health workers, nearly two crore personnel working on the front line and then people above 50 years of age will be given vaccine supplements. At a later stage, people under the age of 50 years of severely ill will be vaccinated. The government will bear the cost of vaccination on health workers and personnel posted on the frontline.
