Kolkata: The nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, on Friday got into a bitter Twitter argument with BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Twitter. The argument started when Vijayvargiya made a comment on after the Abhishek Banerjee challenged BJP chief Amit Shah to contest from any of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal.
Addressing to a gathering in West Bengal, Bengal leader said, "BJP claims they have entered West Bengal... Not Mamata Banerjee, I challenge Amit Shah to contest from any of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal. I will make sure you are defeated."
In response to this statement, on Twitter Vijayvargiya wrote, "In politics, misconceptions are not curable. Please don't nurture them, Abhishek... Because, everyone behaves like a lion in their own den...it won't take time for your party to fall apart."
Abhishek was quick to take on Vijayvargiya for his comments. He replied, "You are right. When you speak about loyalty, there’s no one bigger than a ****. I request in Bengali since it’s my mother tongue, the language of my state, that you and your netas in Delhi first learn how to speak, write and read... Then dream of winning the state."
