Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee attacked BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari and Rajib Banerjee on anonymity at a rally in Kalna in Bardhaman district on Tuesday. Many TMC leaders including Rajiv Banerjee have left the party and have taken membership of BJP before the assembly elections. After that Mamata is attacked by the defectors. After leaving TMC, former Forest Minister Rajiv Banerjee said, "Mamata Banerjee is like my mother." In this rally, Mamata Banerjee has also attacked the central government for the farmer movement. She said that the farmers who are agitating against agricultural laws are facing atrocities.

Mamata said that the BJP has turned the country into a crematorium, but we will not allow this to happen in Bengal. The Trinamool Congress on Sunday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his comments on party president Mamata Banerjee and said that he should soften his attitude towards the farmers who are agitating and show a little 'Mamta' for them.
