Kolkata: Violence is increasing continuously before the assembly elections in West Bengal. Now another political activist has been killed. It is reported that a TMC worker has been shot and killed in Howrah. After this murder, there was a lot of ruckus in the area and the atmosphere became tense. According to the information, TMC supporters and other angry people vandalized.

The name of TMC worker has been told, Dharmendra Singh. According to media reports, when he was going towards his house, the bike-riding assailants fired several rounds at him. After which he was taken to the nearest hospital, but doctors declared him dead. During this time a friend of his was also present with him, who has been injured in the attack. A heavy police force has been deployed in the entire area in view of the tension following the murder incident. The police got involved in the investigation and the search for the accused is on.

Before this incident also, BJP and TMC workers have been done the killings in West Bengal. Many times after these killings, there was a lot of arson and uproar, due to which the state government had to bear the loss of millions. The BJP alleges that Gundaraj is going on in the Mamta government and BJP workers are constantly being targeted. However, TMC workers have also been attacked.
