Trinamool Congress worker has filed a police complaint in view of the violence going on in state post poll. The President of BJP Dilip Ghosh in West Bengal unit, while actor-dancer-politician Mithun Chakraborty joined the party earlier this year in the run-up to the state assembly election. The complainant alleged statements by both BJP leaders that he believes caused "murder, grievous hurt, assault and injury" to TMC workers 'who have been deprived of their homes'. Citing Mr Chakraborty's alleged remarks from the election campaign "Marbo Ekhane Laash Porbe Shoshane" and "Ek Chobole Chobi" - the complainant claims these remarks provoked BJP workers to carry out immense brutality against TMC workers. The complaint further added actor-turned-politician also made these alleged remarks during the Brigade Ground public meeting in Kolkata in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The complaint filed in Kolkata police station read, cited Dilip Ghosh's alleged remarks, including "Chele Bou k Dekhar Lok Thakbe Na", "Onaath kore Debo", "Keu Bhog Korte Parbe Na", and "Choy Foot Niche Pathabo Nahole Opor Theke Choy Foot Namabo" among others.
