CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K Stalin on Monday greeted India President Droupadi Murmu, mentioning the nation would get benefit from her services, and also greeted Ram Nath Kovind for successfully completing his term.
While congratulating Murmu on becoming the 15th President, Stalin said in his message: "I am confident that the nation will benefit from your services as President of this magnificent country, and I wish you all the best." Her election conveys and reinforces the nation's belief in democracy and the inclusion principle, he said.
Stalin congratulated Ram Nath Kovind on completing his term as the fourteenth President and recalled the former president's courtesy of accepting his government's invitation to attend the centenary celebrations of the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly in August 2021.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support for the state as President of the country. "I am confident that the country will continue to profit from your vast experience, and I wish you good health and peace," Stalin wrote to Kovind.
