New Delhi: Some services may be affected in the capital Delhi on December 13, today. More than 1 lakh employees of North and East Delhi Municipal Corporation are facing problems due to going on strike. There is a demand from the Delhi Government to provide DA to these employees.

The Confederation of MCD Employees Unions (Confederation of McD employees unions), which raises the voice of Municipal Corporation of Delhi Group A, B, C, D, and pensioners, has announced a dharna at municipal headquarters Civic Centre from December 13. McD employees association convener AP Khan has said that nearly 11 lakh employees of North and East Delhi Municipal Corporations are going to join the strike. Not only that, but 7,000 teachers from 714 corporation schools have also stopped online classes, except offline classes. Teachers have not been able to get salary for the last 3 months and DA and HRA for nearly 6 months.
