New Delhi: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar is on a visit to Delhi and will leave for Kolkata today on Saturday. But before that, at 11 o'clock, he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This will be his second meeting with the Home Minister in two days. Jagdeep Dhankhar had earlier met Amit Shah on June 17 as well.

Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar tweeted about his meeting with the Home Minister. He said he would meet Amit Shah at his official residence at 11 am before returning to Kolkata. He had earlier met on June 17. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is on a three-day visit to Delhi, had also met President Ram Nath Kovind, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.

The political turmoil in Bengal has intensified over governor Jagdeep Dhankhar's visit to Delhi. Cm Mamata Banerjee and the governor are facing each other over the post-election violence in Bengal. Both have been accusing each other. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee also made a big statement saying that the governor's remote is in the hands of Home Minister Amit Shah.
