Ranchi: RJD supremo and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has also been declared criminal by the CBI court in the Doranda Treasury case related to the fodder scam. However, the punishment of 75 criminals including Lalu will be announced on February 21. Now news is coming that instead of jail from the court, Lalu can also go to RIMS Hospital. Lalu's advocate has filed an application in the court, pleading for his health. The hearing is to be held at 2 pm.

Let us tell you that this case is about the withdrawal of Rs 139 crore from Doranda Treasury. Between 1990 and 1995, Rs 139 crore was withdrawn from the Doranda treasury. After almost 27 years, the court ruled on this scam. The withdrawal of 139.35 crore from Doranda treasury is the biggest incident in the fodder scam. The RC 47A/96 case is from 1990 to 1995. In 1996, the CBI had registered 53 cases for wrongful withdrawal of different amounts from different treasuries. This money was allegedly said to be spent on animals and their fodder.

Let us inform that out of 53 cases, the case of Doranda Treasury RC 47 (A) / 96 is the largest, in which maximum 170 accused are involved. Out of this, 55 criminals have died. Seven criminals including Dipesh Chandak and RK Das were made witnesses by the CBI. Sushil Jha and PK Jaiswal had already considered themselves criminals before the court's decision. Six named criminals are missing in Doranda Treasury case. There are 99 criminals in the Doranda treasury case including former CM Lalu Prasad, former MP Jagdish Sharma, Dr RK Rana, then PAC chairman Dhruv Bhagat, then Animal Husbandry Secretary Beck Julius, Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry Department Dr KM Prasad. Today Lalu Yadav has been declared a criminal.
