'Today negativity sells more' Kapil Sharma on wave of negative media

Populat comedian Kapil Sharma’s  The Kapil Sharma Show has been received warmly by fans and is a huge success. The Ace comedian has regained his mojo and could not be happier. During his troubled days, he got into trouble for his spats with the media.

Talking at FICCI Frames comedian talked about  his bad phase.  He was totally down after Family Time with Kapil Sharma shut down. He was battling alcohol issues and health problems like anxiety and depression. Kapil said, "You learn a lot from failure. I also learnt a lot during this phase and I would try not to repeat it again. I am thankful to those who stood by me.”

Comedian also shared his views on the negativity in media. He said, "I am afraid of something. Today negativity sells more. There is not much authenticity when it comes to publishing news. I am accessible to some and not to some.”

Talking about his interaction with media, the comedian said "I talk straight from my heart. I am bit cautious now. There is a responsibility as a celebrity and I feel I need to mature and not talk nonsense (faltu)." We can see that he has become more forthcoming to the media as well.

On the workfront, currently, Kapil Sharma is doing the second season of his comedy show “the Kapil Sharma Show’ which is getting love from the audience.
