On Tuesday, Singhraj Adhana won bronze in the P1 - Men's 10m Air Pistol SH1 event at the Tokyo Paralympics with a score of 216.8. Manish Narwal came in seventh place in the final. Chao Yang and Xing Huang, both from China, won Gold and Silver, respectively. Adana, who had been hovering around the top three, was knocked out of competition with his bad 19th shot, but he was able to claw his way back into contention with his 20th try, while China's Xiaolong Lou got 8.6.

Manish had previously won the qualifying round, while Singhraj had finished sixth. Narwal and Chinese Lou Xiaolong finished with joint first place with a total of 575 points. Singaraja tallied 569 points to finish sixth in the 60-shot qualifying cycle. Narwal came up with scores of 96, 95, 92,98, 97, and 97 in the six rounds of 10 shots each in the low-scoring qualifying round. Singaraja started with 95 and then added scores of 97, 93, 95, 92, and 97 in the next five rounds.

Because the handgun is carried with one hand only, athletes in the SH1 category have a disability that affects one arm or leg, such as amputations or spinal cord injuries. The men's 10 air pistol competition is classified as P1. Some shooters participate while seated, while others compete while standing, as mandated by the regulations.
