Tollywood star Akhil Akkineni has garnered a lot of appreciation by his fans because of his charming style and blasting performance. The Taqdeer star is looking to make his mark in Tollywood just like his father and his elder brother Naga Chaitanya. Recently, Akhil took to social media to announce his fifth film and next project with leading director Surender Reddy who is on cloud nine with the massive success of Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

The movie which is temporarily being introduced as #Akhil5 is based on the story written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The young Tollywood star took to his Twitter handle to share the news with his fans and audience.  Moreover, Akhil stated that the movie is extremely special to him and is quite excited to start the project soon. The upcoming project is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments banner and under Surender Reddy’s banner Surrender2cinema. The details about the cast and crew will be shared by the filmmakers as soon as their production schedule progresses.

Surender Reddy is gearing up to show a new version of Akhil Akkineni in his 5th film. The director also declared a new movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan which is also tentatively titled as #PSPK29.  About Akhil Akkineni's work front, he will be next seen with Pooja Hegde in the romantic drama Most Eligible Bachelor. Touted to be a new-age love story, the film is helmed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and the release date is listed to release on the eve of Pongal 2021. GA2 Pictures and Vasu Varma are financing the film jointly. Gopi Sundar is handling the music.
