The news of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar's death shocked celebs across the country including Tollywood. Many Tollywood stars had reached Bangalore to see him for the last time and bid him farewell. Jr NTR, Rana Daggubati, Balakrishna, Prabhu Deva, Naresh, Shiv Balaji and other celebs were seen at the Kanteerva Stadium. Many of them even broke down remembering the late actor.
When the news of his demise broke, Taarak was heartbroken when he wrote, "Heartbroken! Can't believe you left so soon. (sic)" It was really an emotional moment for him when he saw his friend for the last time. Rana was also seen shedding tears while shaking hands in front of his friend's body. Other actresses like Anupama Parameswaran, Adah Sharma and Vishnu Manchu took to social media to share personal anecdotes with the late actor, revealing how much he really was in love.
Puneet collapsed in the gym on Friday afternoon and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Despite receiving treatment for a heart attack, fans were shocked to learn that he had passed away. They thronged the hospital, his house and now the stadium to bid him farewell. His last rites will be performed on Sunday with full state honors at Kanteerva Studio.
