Lucknow: Tomorrow is Juma and the Uttar Pradesh Police has been alerted before that. Security arrangements are being made in several cities including Lucknow, Prayagraj and Bareilly in view of the possibility of violence after the Jumei prayers. In the capital Lucknow, 61 sensitive areas have been identified. At the same time, special checks are being kept on 70 crowded mosques.

There is also preparation for drone surveillance in Lucknow. The entire city is divided into 37 sectors. If bricks and stones are found on the roofs, direct action will be taken against the landlord. At the same time, in order to maintain peace in Prayagraj, the district administration and the police have held a meeting with religious leaders, after which it has been decided that this time volunteers will be installed in the mosques before prayers. Volunteers to be installed at the mosques of Prayagraj will go to the namaz and keep an eye, informing the police if anything goes wrong. The volunteers will take care that anarchic elements do not enter the mosques under the guise of namazis. On the other hand, the court's stand on the accused of violence is also very strict.

The Prayagraj district court has rejected the bail applications of seven more stone pelting accused. The district court has so far rejected the bail applications of 21 accused. The court said that the allegations are of a serious nature of offence and hence do not constitute a ground for bail. Along with this, the Prayagraj Development Authority has also been preparing an account of the property of the accused, on which bulldozers can run anytime.
