The MLAs were allowed to speak for hours. The BJP leader said that he (the government) does not have a majority and he is just wasting time. Now, what action the Governor takes depends on him. Yeddyruappa claimed that the Congress-JDS alliance has 98 MLAs and the BJP HAS 106 MLAs. Away from the majority, HD Kumaraswamy has no moral right to continue as CM. He said if he (Kumaraswamy) has a majority, prove otherwise he should resign. Pointing to the petition filed by the Congress and the Chief Minister, Yeddyurappa said he was confused that the Supreme Court would get relief on Monday. Congress and JDS alliance leaders have claimed to prove their majority. Ahead of the confidence vote, Congress leader Siddaramaiah has called a meeting of the legislative party on Sunday evening.
