Today Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of this year's awaited movie 'Toofan'. Amazon Prime Video's presentation 'Toofan' in partnership with Excel Entertainment and RoMP Pictures is an inspiring sports drama with maker Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. The movie stars Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Hussain Dalal, Dr Mohan Agashe, Darshan Kumar and Vijay Raj along with Farhan Akhtar.

Directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, the powerful trailer of the movie takes the audience to the journey of the life of a local goon Ajju Bhai, who later becomes professional boxer Aziz Ali. 'Toofan' is a story that flies with passion and stubbornness, full of hope, faith, and inner perseverance. 'Toofan' is also set to be the first movie to premiere simultaneously in Hindi and English on Amazon Prime Video, which will premiere in 240 countries and regions from July 16, 2021.

Lead actor and co-producer Farhan Akhtar revealed how challenging it was to sink into his role. Talking about his character and preparations to play it, Farhan said, "It was a really great pleasure to sweat for the Toofan. No matter how strong someone is physically, playing a boxer is not a food task. I had to practice for 8 to 9 months to get into this role, after which I realized how much the game really squeezes physically, mentally and emotionally."
