September 9, 2024 - Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New Delhi today, marking a significant moment in the deepening relationship between India and the UAE. The meeting will focus on key areas of bilateral cooperation, highlighting the close ties between the two nations.

Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in New Delhi for his first official visit and will meet PM Modi to discuss topics ranging from political cooperation to trade, technology, education, and energy. The two leaders are expected to explore new areas of collaboration, reinforcing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established between the two countries.

As part of his visit, the Crown Prince will also meet President Droupadi Murmu and pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. His official itinerary includes a trip to Mumbai on September 10, where he will participate in a business forum alongside business leaders from both India and the UAE.

The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, established in 2017, has led to closer ties in various fields, including investment and connectivity. This visit is seen as a continuation of the positive momentum, following UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to India in January and PM Modi's trip to the UAE in July 2023.

India and the UAE share a long history of friendship and cooperation, with growing collaboration across multiple sectors. This visit by the Crown Prince is expected to further enhance these relations, unlocking new opportunities for both nations.
