Indra Kumar directorial Total Dhamaal received mixed reviews at the box office. Despite being critically-panned, comic caper is minting money at the box-office. The multi-starrer, which is from the Dhamaal franchise and has been directed by Indra Kumar, made Rs 8.75 crore on day 5 of its release, taking its total box office collection to Rs 81 crore.

Multi-starrer Adventure-comedy opened at a high, making Rs 16.50 crore on Day 1. Day 2 and Day 3 were even better for the film, making Rs 20.40 crore and 25.50 crore respectively, taking Total Dhamaal’s opening weekend box-office collection to Rs 62.4 crore. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account took to Twitter and shared the box-office collection of the film. The Tweet reads, #TotalDhamaal shows a solid hold on weekdays... Emerges a big favourite in mass circuits/single screens... Set for a healthy, successful run in those circuits... Fri 16.50 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 25.50 cr, Mon 9.85 cr, Tue 8.75 cr. Total: ₹ 81 cr. however, the film may have to wait longer for making it to the Rs 100 crore club because two upcoming Bollywood films, Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya are releasing this coming Friday and will hamper the box-office collection of Total Dhamaal.
