LONDON: Twenty-four people, including children, were taken to a hospital after they were exposed to toxic fumes at a hotel spa in Hampshire, southeast England, according to reports. Firefighters were called to Solent Hotel & Spa in Whiteley, Hampshire, after a number of hotel guests were “overcome” by fumes in the spa.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire Rescue Service was alerted to the Solent Hotel and Spa in Whiteley to deal with a "large-scale incident" at 8.44 p.m. on Monday. A spokesperson for the brigade said crews began immediate emergency care, set up a casualty handling area and requested the ambulance service to attend after being called to the incident at 8on Monday.
