Lucknow: A tragic accident occurred in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh on Friday (January 20) morning. A speeding trailer has crushed 3 people. Two of them died on the spot, while one succumbed to injuries in a hospital. The driver of the trailer was also injured in the incident. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
The accident took place near the Barao intersection on Rudrapur-Barhaj road. Several officials including the Superintendent of Police, SDM, and CO have reached the spot. In view of the anger of the people, the police force of 4 police stations has been deployed on the spot. According to the report, a trailer loaded with stone boulders was going towards Rudrapur from Barhaj's side at around 7:30 am on Friday morning. Paras Pandey (50), a resident of Bahaduan, was hit by a sudden uncontrolled trailer near the Barao intersection. After this, the trailer moved at high speed and crushed Sunil (45), a resident of Samogar, and Gauri (65), a resident of Bahasua, who were heating the bonfire near the brewery.
Finally, the trailer entered Ashok Madheshiya's house. Hearing the loud sound of the trailer hitting the house, people from nearby areas rushed to the spot. According to eyewitnesses, the trailer collided so fast that the entire house shook with a loud sound. During this time, people who were there ran away and saved their lives. Sunil and Gauri died on the spot, while Paras Pandey succumbed to his injuries at the district hospital. The injured trailer driver is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
