Buxar: A major accident took place in Bihar's Buxar late in the evening when a Scorpio and a bus collided near Kritsagar under Krishna Brahma police station. Four persons on board the Scorpio lost their lives on the spot, while more than half a dozen people were badly injured in the accident. Giving details in connection with the case, eyewitness Harendra Yadav said that the accident took place around 6.30 pm. The Scorpio, which was going from Buxar to Ara with the procession, collided with the bus coming towards Buxar due to overtaking.
After the dangerous collision of the same Scorpio and the bus, the local people alerted the police and started the rescue operation. Harendra Yadav said four persons on board the Scorpio had died on the spot, while more than half a dozen persons have been sent for treatment to Buxar hospital where they are being treated.
However, all those killed in this road accident are said to be men. It is being said that they were going to attend some procession. They have not yet been identified. The police are making efforts in this regard. According to eyewitnesses, the collision between the bus and the Scorpio was so dangerous that the Scorpio was badly damaged. The Scorpio riders were badly trapped after the accident. After hours of hard work, he could be pulled out of the car. Eyewitnesses said that since the Scorpio driver was overtaking, his speed was fast which led to such a big accident.
