Kolkata: An audacious case has come to light in The Aamta police station area of Howrah adjoining Kolkata. In the Sharda South Khan Pada area here, four criminals in civil and police uniforms threw a student leader down from a 3-storey house and killed him. The case is late Friday night. The deceased student has been identified as Anish Khan (28). There is an atmosphere of panic in the area from this case. 

However, the police of Amta police station claim that no policeman was sent to the student's house by the police station. No arrests have been made in the incident so far. It is being said that 3 persons were in the white dress, while the fourth was in police uniform. The police are investigating the case. Anish was a student leader of The University of Kolkata after completing his studies at Alia University and was currently studying journalism at Kalyani University. Whether there is a political reason behind the murder, the police are also investigating it. It is being said that recently he had left the Left Front and joined the Indian Secular Front (ISF).

Anish lived in Kolkata in connection with his studies. On Friday evening, he had reached home to attend a religious programme in the area. After attending the program, he returned home at around one o'clock in the night. After a while, four men reached the house and knocked on the door and asked Anish to get out. Anish's father Salam Khan did not want to open the door, but the criminals threatened to open the door. After opening the door, the man said that a complaint has been lodged against his son at Bagnan police station. They have arrived to question him in this connection. According to the father, the man in the police uniform also had a pistol in his hand. His father told him that Anish was not at home. Even after this, three men in civil dress forcibly entered the house and went to the terrace, while the fourth stood near the door and did not allow her father to go to the terrace. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh demanded that the culprits be punished.
