Islamabad: A horrific road accident is being reported in Balochistan, Pakistan. On Sunday (January 29), a bus full of passengers fell into a deep ditch in Balochistan. At least 39 passengers lost their lives in this accident. A team of police and rescue workers have reached the spot and are engaged in work.
According to the report, the accident took place in the Lasbela area of Balochistan. According to Pakistani media, there were about 48 passengers on the bus that fell into the ditch. The bus was going from Quetta to Karachi. It is said that while taking a U-turn at a place in the Bela area of the Lasbela district, the bus collided with the pillar of the bridge. After hitting the pillar of the bridge, the driver lost control of the bus. The bus full of passengers then fell into the ditch. The fire also erupted in the bus that fell into the ditch. Lasbela Assistant Commissioner Hamza Anjum confirmed the incident and informed that rescue operations were underway, according to Pakistani media.
According to Pakistani media, Hamza Anjum has informed that three people aboard the bus, including a child and a woman, have been safely rescued. All three have been taken to the hospital for treatment. At present, the police and rescue teams are doing relief work on the spot.
