Lucknow: In Jalaun, two students, Varsha and Kajol, faced a tragic incident as they were hit by an unidentified train while crossing the Ajnari railway crossing on their way to coaching centers. This unfortunate event unfolded amid dense fog in the region, severely impacting visibility. Regrettably, Kajol lost her life on the spot, and Varsha sustained serious injuries. Prompt response from nearby residents led to the police taking Varsha to a local hospital for urgent medical attention, while Kajol's body was sent for a medical examination.

The Divisional Railway Manager, Raj Kumar Singh, shared details of the canceled reserved tickets, with a notable concentration from stations like Bareilly, Moradabad, Haridwar, and Dehradun.
