Major changes have been made in Call dropping rules by the Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Now the telecom companies will be penalized if call is dropped.

Indian telecom regulator has announced new rules regarding call-drop. In which if the telecom operators will not meet the criteria, they will be fined with at least Rs. 5 lakhs. Additionally, telecom companies have been given strict instructions regarding this.

In this regard, the Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has said that if the benchmark is not completed, the service provider will be fined with a penalty of Rs 5 lakh on each parameter, and if the company does not meet the benchmark for two consecutive quarters then the penalty If the amount does not improve after more than one and a half times and more than two quarters, then the penalty will be doubled.

 Regarding the 'quality of services', the revised regulation will take effect from October 1. According to this rule, 90% of mobile sites in a telecom circle, up to 90% of the time, 98% should be able to operate the calls in an easy manner.

Telling that there was a problem of frequent call drop for several days, the reason behind this is the differences between telecom companies. Users have to bear the brunt. TRAI has already made rules about this. The same is now seen strictly in view of the problem of calldrop
