Coronavirus cases are increasing every day in India and the state and central government are doing their best to prevent this epidemic. Many bodies and institutions in India have made several efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19. In a similar way, a private taxi firm in Kerala has opted for the same approach by establishing a transparent partition between the driver seat in the cab and the rear passenger seat. The firm has taken this step to prevent coronavirus. The taxi firm has decided to take this initiative after receiving suggestions from the Ernakulam district administration.

The cabs of the firm have been deployed to transport domestic flights and people returning by ships. Establishing a transparent division between the driver and passengers will maintain social disturbances and prevent the driver from exposure to the virus. Such cabs have been specially made for the transportation of Indians coming from abroad, because the cab drivers are more likely to be exposed to the virus due to Indians coming from abroad.

A video from West Bengal, which emerged on the internet, in which the e-rickshaw driver has divided the vehicle into coaches to ensure social distance between passengers. The video has become increasingly viral and has received attention from Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra.
