In today's time, there are many temples which have their own special features. Well today we are going to tell you about one such temple. The temple we are going to tell you is of Lord Shiva. Actually, we are talking about Masnodih of Domchancha block of Koderma district. There is a wonderful Shivling of Lord Shankar here which is transparent. It is said that the Shivling here is completely of solid stone but still it is transparent.

Actually, people here worship the transparent form of Lord Shankar as Niranjan Nath. It is said that this Shivling was established in the year 1850 by Dharm Narayan Singh, the zamindar of Baratgarh Estate under Nawada district of present-day Bihar. The temple is very famous due to its characteristic of being a transparent Shivling. People call the Shivling located in this temple a crystal stone. Deepak Singh, a resident of Masnodih, says that lord Shiva came in dream of his ancestor Dharam Narayan Singh had appeared in a dream of a decade and a half before Lord Shiva, and told him about mountain area a little away from Masnodih.

The next day he found this Shivling-shaped stone at the same place. After this, the crystal stone like Shivalinga was brought and installed here with the entire law and legislation. It is said that the British had also put their eyes on this temple built during the reign of King Maharaja in the year 1850, but he wanted to get it but he could not succeed in this plan. By the way, people have unwavering faith towards this temple and people say that what they ask here is found.
