Well, amidst of all this , here is the story of a Travel Blogger, Alka Kaushik who completed her 3,000 km trip with Rs 80. On 8th, when she was travelling along with her 70-year-old mother, she came to know about the demonetisation.
Alka was on her trip to visiting 'UNESCO World heritage sites' and that day, she was travelling back to Raichur district of Karnataka.
During the crisis of money, Travel Agent K Ramu was her saviour. He helped her with all the expenses. The generous man told the lady “MADAM PARWA NAHI, AAP BOLO KIDHAR JANEKA HAI? MAIN TAXI DONGA AAPKO.. PARWAY NAHI..(NO NEED TO WORRY MADAM. JUST TELL ME WHERE YOU WANT TO GO, I WILL BOOK A CAB FOR YOU).”
Alka was overwhelmed with the gesture of the man. She said “IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE HOW SOMEONE WHO I HAD NOT EVEN MET BEFORE CAME WITH TO THE MUCH-NEEDE AID OF STRANGERS.”
After the end of the journey, she transferred Rs. 13,500 in Ramu's Bank account.
