Kolkata: The Nandigram case has been adjourned on a petition filed by West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee. A one-member bench of the Calcutta High Court has postponed the hearing till June 24. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has opened a front against the judge after the hearing was postponed. TMC released a picture of Judge Kaushik Chanda in which he is seen on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stage.

TMC has expressed doubts over single bench judge Kaushik Chanda, who has been appointed by acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal to hear Mamata Banerjee's election petition. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh tweeted pictures of Justice Chanda with the Bengal BJP leadership. The TMC has raised many questions through this picture. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh tweeted, 'With respect to judiciary: Justice Kaushik Chanda, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of hearing the Nandigram case.'

Kunal Ghosh shared a picture with the caption in which Justice Kaushik Chanda is reportedly seen sitting on the dais with BJP's Bengal state president Dilip Ghosh. Meanwhile, TMC MP Derek O'Brien tweeted a picture. Sharing this picture, Derek wrote, 'Who is the person who is present in both the pictures? Is he Justice Kaushik Chanda of the Calcutta High Court? Has he been appointed to hear the Nandigram election case? Can the judiciary fall further down?'
