Mumbai: The lives of 22 people have been lost in a plane crash in Nepal. Among those who died, a family was also from India. The Indian Embassy in Nepal said Ashok Tripathi (54) from Thane, his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar-Tripathi (51), son Dhanush Tripathi (22) and daughter Ritika Tripathi (18) were also traveling in the plane. All were going to visit a temple in Pokhara, Nepal. But the story of this family is astonishing.

Actually, Ashok Tripathi was living separately from his wife Vaibhavi. Both were about to get divorced, the matter was in court. But the court had asked the entire family to spend 10 days together every year till the verdict. Because of this the family went to Nepal. Both the children lived with Vaibhavi, while Ashok lived alone. Let us tell you that one of his cousins ​​was also going to go with Ashok, but he changed the plan at the last minute. On receiving the news of the plane crash, Vaibhavi's neighbor said, 'It is very unfortunate and we are all in shock. Vaibhavi's only elderly mother is at home.

They are in bad shape by crying. Vaibhavi's mother had an operation a few days back and she is alone in the house. Vaibhavi works as a software engineer in a private company located in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Son Dhanush is an engineering graduate and daughter Ritika is in school. Ashok has an HR Consultancy firm in Odisha. He is the fourth of 5 siblings. The rest of his household lives in Pune. After receiving the news of the accident, the entire family reached Thane late in the night. Ashok's father has been a district judge. He passed away 11 years ago. His mother also passed away in 2020. Ashok had come to Mumbai on 26 May and this family had left for Nepal from here.
