Agartala: A major action has been taken against District Collector Shailesh Yadav who misbehaved with people during a wedding ceremony at marriage hall in Tripura. The district collector has now been suspended after the video of his misbehaviour went viral. Tell me, cm Biplab Deb had also sought a detailed report after the case took a toll and has now been suspended.

Earlier, district collector Shailesh Yadav had also apologised after the video went viral on social media. He had said that his aim was not to humiliate anyone, but to do so for the good of the people. Viral video shows DM Shailesh Kumar Yadav seen stopping a wedding ceremony. They also forcibly drove the bride and groom out of the marriage hall and assaulted the priest.

In the viral video, District Collector Shailesh appeared furious and while raiding the marriage hall, the DM ordered the arrest of those who did not follow the covid guidelines. He even threatened to close two marriage halls.
