After watching this video, the forest department has issued orders to investigate this incident. Giving information, a forest department official has said that at Simlang Bazar in the district on the Tripura-Mizoram border, "endangered species of pythons were stripped of their skins and chopped to sell". He said that the department received photographs and videos of the incident after which orders have been issued to investigate the matter.
