Triumph, the world's top sports bike manufacturer, has introduced the Tiger Sport 660 in India. The new bikes, like previous Triumph Tiger bikes, are capable off-road, with the Sport 660 being more geared to touring. This is due to the fact that it is built on the same platform as the Trident 660, a naked streetfighter, and the two bikes share a number of similarities, including the powertrain. The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 will be available in India next year, with dealerships beginning to receive them in January 2022. It will compete with the Kawasaki Versys 650 and even the Honda CB500X when it is released.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 seems to be a packed tourer. The bike's powerful look is enhanced with LED pilot lights along the air duct, dual LED headlights, a tall windshield, and a muscular fuel tank with tank extension. The low side panels and underslung small exhaust canisters make the entire body appealing, despite the fact that the rear has been built a little lower.

Like previous Tiger bikes, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has an a dual instrument cluster with an LCD and a TFT display. The ADV also comes with a ride-by-wire throttle and two riding modes: Rain and Road, which alter the throttle map, traction control level, and ABS intervention, respectively. When you wish to slide the tail, you may turn off the traction control on the bike.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is expected to use the same 660cc triple-cylinder engine as the Trident, which produces 80 Bhp and 64 Nm of peak torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch, however a bi-directional quickshifter is available as an option. The Tiger Sport 660's suspension consists of 41 mm Showa inverted separate function forks with Showa mono-shock and remote hydraulic preload adjustment. Both sides of the bike have 150 mm of wheel travel. Braking components include dual 310 mm front discs and a single 255 mm rear disc with Nissan callipers.
