New Delhi: Triumph Motorcycles, the renowned British marque, has recently introduced the 2023 versions of its Street Triple 765 R and RS models in India.
The ex-showroom prices for these motorcycles are set at Rs. 10.17 lakh and Rs. 11.81 lakh, respectively. The motorcycles were initially listed on the Indian website in February and have now been launched with several updates, including a redesigned twin-pod LED headlight and sharper body panels.
The Street Triple has gained significant popularity since its introduction in 2007 and is known for its user-friendly nature.

However, with increasing competition in the middleweight streetfighter segment, Triumph Motorcycles has upgraded the Street Triple range to offer a retuned engine, improved suspension setup, and reworked body panels. In India, the Street Triple competes against rivals such as the Ducati Monster and Kawasaki Z900.
Both the 2023 Street Triple 765 R and RS models showcase Triumph's modern design philosophy. They feature a sculpted 15-liter fuel tank, bug-eye-style twin-pod LED headlight, DRLs resembling eyebrows, a wide handlebar with bar-end mirrors, split-type seats, a compact side-mounted exhaust, a sleek LED taillamp, and 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels. The motorcycles also come with a full-color 5.0-inch TFT instrument cluster that offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.

Powering both the Street Triple R and RS models is a potent 765cc, inline-triple engine. This 12-valve, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine delivers 120hp/80Nm in the R variant and 130hp/80Nm in the RS variant. A 6-speed manual gearbox, equipped with a bi-directional quick-shifter, handles the transmission duties for both bikes.
To ensure rider safety, the 2023 Street Triple R and RS models are equipped with Brembo-sourced disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. These motorcycles also feature cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple riding modes.
