RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's smart and sustainable city NEOM has partnered with hospitality developer Ennismore for its Trojana project, as the mountain tourism destination prepares to host the Asian Winter Games in 2029.
The developer will establish its iconic brands – 25hours Hotels and Morgans Originals – in Trojana, which upon completion will include a ski village.
The agreement with Ennismore is expected to be one of many with hospitality developers, as Hotel Development, the NEOM division in charge of developing a future-focused hospitality ecosystem, seeks to forge global partnerships with leading firms.

Trojana is set to end in 2026, and is located in a region where winter temperatures drop below zero and year-round temperatures are typically 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the region.
The size of the site is 60 square meters. km, at an altitude of 1,500 to 2,600 m.
The Trojana Games will feature 47 events, 28 on snow and 19 on ice, including skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey and figure skating.

According to NEOM CEO Nadmi Al-Nasr, Trojana will have all the necessary infrastructure to make the Winter Games a historic global event.
