Washington: In the Russia-Ukraine conflict, former US President Donald Trump has declined to say whether he supports one side over the other, saying he would rather concentrate on putting an end to the bloodshed altogether.
In his remarks for a CNN town hall on Wednesday in New Hampshire, Trump insisted that Washington was providing Kiev with too much ammunition.
Trump, who is running for re-election, was asked by CNN's Kaitlan Collins if he wanted "Ukraine to win this war," and he responded, "I don't think in terms of winning or losing."

He criticised the Pentagon's financial support of Kiev's military. We don't have weapons to defend ourselves, yet we give away so much, he declared. Additionally, Trump stated that he wanted Europe to "equalise" its financial support for Ukraine with that of the United States and "put up more money" for the country.
Trump asserted that if elected in 2024, he would "have that war settled in one day" and promised to meet with Vladimir Putin of Russia and Vladimir Zelensky of Ukraine.
